Clinical Pilates

Clinical Pilates Rehabilitation and Maintenance

The Pilates Method is based on the concept that “Ideally our muscles obey our will”. In order to establish a connection between mind and body, Pilates uses the principles of concentration, control, centering, precision, fluent movement, elongation, alignment and breathing.

Pilates focuses on core control and deep stabilizing muscles, as well as emphasizing eccentric control (elongating the muscles). At EPR we use specialized equipment, small props and weights as well as floor exercises.

We target the body in a holistic fashion in order to improve your posture and strength, restore muscular balance, core control, flexibility, mobility and efficiency and quality of movement as well as treating problem areas.
